Repairs and Restoration

If, unfortunately, you receive a damaged order, please reach out to hello@andlottie.com within the initial 14 days.

In the event of an item being damaged within 3 months due to design, material, or workmanship defects, we offer a complimentary repair service. Post this period, repairs will be evaluated case by case and may incur a fee.

If there is evidence of damage resulting from neglect or your actions, we're still happy to repair the item, though a repair fee will be applicable.

Over time, regular wear and tear may necessitate professional polishing, repair, restoration, or stone resetting for jewellery.

We recommend checking daily-worn items, such as engagement or stone-set wedding rings, every six to twelve months to ensure settings are in proper working order. Settings like micro setting, claw setting, and pave settings are particularly susceptible to knocks.

Feel free to contact us at hello@andlottie.com for further details on jewellery restoration.

Jewellery Care

To keep your jewellery in peak condition, consider these tips:

  • Store jewellery in a fabric-lined box or individual pouches to protect it.

  • Remove jewellery when applying scent, lotions, or during labor-intensive activities.

  • Wash jewellery in warm soapy water, using fingers or a soft brush to remove dirt.

Gold and Silver Care

Handle gold with care as it's a softer alloy. Remove jewellery during activities that may cause sharp impacts.

Silver tarnishes quickly; use a specialist silver polish for cleaning. Consult professionals for advice to avoid damage to gemstones.

Pearl Care

Pearls are soft; avoid using harsh detergents. Clean with a damp muslin cloth if needed. Remove pearls during exercise, household tasks, or bathing.

Stone Care

Gemstones are hard, but cut and setting affect their vulnerability. Porous gemstones like emeralds and opals need careful handling. Avoid contact with creams, lotions, and household chemicals. Clean with lukewarm water and a lint-free cloth. Store in the provided soft pouch, away from extreme temperatures. Avoid using ultrasonic machines, strong detergents, or adhesives on gemstones.
